Marketing Director: Jono Yervantian

Updated: Dec 19, 2019

Jono Yervantian was born and raised in Brisbane, Australia. After a successful start to his sales and marketing career in Australia, he decided to take a gap year to travel overseas. Beginning with a 3-month solo backpacking trip throughout Europe, the only thing that shaped his travel decisions more than culture and food, was music. Spending over 8 months abroad, visiting three continents and 13 countries he finally landed in Victoria. Luckily, holding dual citizenship with Canada through his mother, Jono fell in love with the culture, arts, and lifestyle of the west coast and decided to make it his long-term home. Following various roles in the professional sales and marketing world here in Victoria, and some eye-opening personal experiences, he decided to take his passion for the arts to the next level and focus on what he loved most; music.

Over the next three years, he dedicated himself to develop the skills needed to produce and mix electronic music and has achieved notable success in the local scene in a relatively short time. It makes perfect sense then, that he would be taking up the mantle of Marketing Director here at the tribe, a perfect marriage of the world he loves most and the skills and experience he possesses.
